Hello! My name is Tabitha Ann Cat. But my shelter has me in their records as “Tabby.” I prefer Tabitha (“for long”) because the woman who rescued me thought I deserved a fancy name – and I do! I am a beautiful long-haired tabby cat with tufts of hair coming from my ears and toes, striking dark brown markings (including on the bottom of my feet!), and a mane that would make a lion envious.
I was an outdoor, stray cat for many months. A kind woman started feeding me. She also asked for help from my current shelter to have me spayed and vaccinated. After a while she decided that I should have a home and be an indoor cat. So the shelter took me in and placed me in a foster home. I was very shy and scared at first, but I soon warmed up to my foster mom (like within two days!) who called me “one of the most loving cats she’d ever known!”
I probably would not do well with dogs, other cats, or small children. But if you give me a chance, start me out in a small room, and are patient with me, I promise I will give you lots and lots of purrs and rubs in no time! Not to mention the bragging rights you will get on your Facebook page by having the most beautiful cat in the world!
