Life is better with a Toby. Meet our friend, and you’ll understand.
It was love at first sight for shelter volunteers when our new friend arrived. Toby is a Cairn Terrier mix who weighs in at 12 lbs. With his fun-loving, joyful spirit, you would never guess that he’ll be 10 years old in June. Toby is a delightful combination of active and sweet. He loves to go for walks, he loves people of all ages, and he loves tennis balls and squeaky toys. “Love” should be his middle name.
Terrier people know this:

* Terriers are smart, charming, fun, and courageous.
* Terriers are entertaining, loyal, and affectionate companions.
NOTE: Toby does not like other dogs or cats. He will require regular grooming to keep his coat its Terrier-best. FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives. As such, we screen all potential adopters and strive to match each adopter with the perfect fit for their lifestyle and activity level.
All adopters must live within a 4 hour drive of Parkville, Missouri.
