Featured Cat - FUZZIWIG!

Hi!  My name is Fuzziwig!  Isn’t that the funniest name ever!  The first rescue I was with named me that due to my fur looking like a fuzzy wig!  They adopted me out to someone who didn’t take very good care of me – I became very matted and overweight and was left outside to fend for myself.  Luckily, a good Samaritan found me wandering in his neighborhood and contacted another rescue/shelter, where I am currently staying.  This shelter has been amazing!  They shaved off all my mats and put me on a diet.  When my fur grows back and I lose some weight, I will return to being the beautiful long-haired cat I was meant to be!

I’m not sure if I do well with other pets, so a slow introduction would be necessary.  Due to my “fuzziwig,” I will need to be brushed on a regular basis.  But I promise to “talk” to you the whole time; it’s ok you don’t speak “cat!”  I’m very sweet and love attention whether it’s brushing, talking, or petting.  My hair may be “fuzzy,” but my future is clear and bright now that I have been rescued.  The next step in my journey is finding a person or family who will give me a forever home, take good care of me, and not toss me back out on the streets.  Can that be you?
