Featured Cat - FREDDIE!

Hi! My name is Freddie. I have lived and survived on my own my entire life (I am 6 years old). And boy do I have the scraps, scars, and battle wounds to show for it! Once I hurt my back leg, I decided I could no longer “do life” without help. So I started hanging around a vet clinic. Smart, huh? They eventually noticed me (and my injuries and hurt leg) and took me in. I receive a lot of medical care there (including a complete dental cleaning), as well as a lot of love.

The volunteers at the shelter are awesome! I get food, treats, and LOTS of love. They even let me roam outside of my cage for up to 12 hours at a time! But what I really want is a family to call my own that is with me every day and a home that I never have to leave. I look a little rough around the edges, have lost some teeth, and sport a crooked ear. But I assure you that inside I am just one great big ball of love. I do not know how my past experiences would make me react to any current pets you have, so a very slow introduction would be necessary. I do know I adore humans and hope that you will consider becoming mine.
