Gomez was taken in by a woman in Parkville who couldn’t resist this “extremely lovey” stray, as she put it. Being a mom, she also noticed he had a runny nose and couldn’t bear to leave him out in the cold in that condition. He won her heart, but unfortunately the resident cat was not as smitten, so she contacted FOPAS.
Gomez gets along with dogs, children of all ages, and is willing to give it a try with any cats in the house. Meaning “man,” “Gomez” has been a popular surname in Spanish culture from medieval times. More recently and well known is its association with the beloved Addams Family character. No matter what images you conjure up when you hear the name “Gomez,” this dapper “man” will win you over with his love, charm, and agreeable nature. He would love to be a part of any family – big or small – as long as it is forever.
