Hi! My name is Pixy! I’m looking for a new home. I used to live in a big house where I could get away from the dog (who HATED me). But my former owners had to move to a smaller house, leaving me with no place to hide. They thought it best if I could find a different home with no dogs.
My name means “mischievous,” “playful,” and “cheerful.” But I am not at all mischievous! I am a very good kitty – just ask my previous owner. I never scratched the furniture and always used my litter box. I am playful and cheerful, but everything I have been through lately has made me a bit skittish, so you will need to be patient with me. I have had to hide behind boxes during the move to get away from the dog, I got outside a few times (also trying to get away from the dog), I had to stay at the vet’s office to make sure I didn’t escape again, and then I was taken to a shelter. Lots of scary changes for me! But I promise to be a great cat after you get to know me, and if you give me some time to adjust to my new surroundings. Please make an appointment to come meet me soon! I am anxious to be someone’s pet again!
