Our sweet Olivia has been waiting a long time for a family to give her a happily ever after. Olivia originally came to FOPAS as a 7-month-old pup back in 2015, but sadly when her family had a baby Olivia was nervous and growled at the tiny human crawling around the floor so they brought her back. She is looking for a truly FOREVER home this time around! Her estimated DOB is 4/2014. She is gentle, calm, loves to cuddle, and enjoys car rides. She will bond strongly to her family. She loves to be wherever her people are. Olivia does have separation anxiety, so a home where someone can be with her most of the time or can confine her safely is ideal. Olivia goes on weekly field trips with one of her favorite volunteers to escape shelter life for a little while, but nothing compares to life in a home and a family of your own. She is a large dog, weighing 106 pounds and can be stubborn so she needs a strong guiding hand. Olivia would do best as an only dog. She should not be with cats or small dogs. An adult only home or a home with older children (13 years+) is a must. Olivia is housebroken. She does need to be on a special diet for her urinary health. Her prescription food costs about $200 per month (it can be found a little cheaper on chewy.com), but she does fantastic on this food. It keeps her urinary tract healthy and free of crystals.
