Did you know, for every man, woman and child in this country there are 15 dogs and 45 cats per person, available for adoption?  This is a statistic we can improve!  Please remember to spay/neuter your pets to help end this overpopulation crisis.  And, always choose adoption as your first option!

Every Saturday - Adoptions

Adoptions are held every Saturday at the FOPAS facility and at NKC Petco from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.  Adoptions are also held at Petsmart in Liberty on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Volunteers 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must be at least 12 to walk dogs.

2nd & 4th Wednesdays – Dog Walker Volunteer Training

Training Sessions for New Volunteer Walkers are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. sharp.  (Note: Cat Volunteer Training is organized by appointment only.)  Volunteers 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must be at least 12 to walk dogs.

Monthly Volunteer Meeting – 7:30 pm

FOPAS Volunteers meet on the third Thursday of each month, 7:30 pm, Dog Building.
