GIT ALONG LITTLE DOGGIES!Join Mary McKenna Host of KFKF 94.1 Country and Jim Flink KMBC Channel 9 Anchor as we celebrate people and their pets in English Landing Park beginning at 9:00 am on September 20.Comfort Tours and Cruise Holidays present this year's third annual event, and it's going to be one rootin'-tootin' countrified hoedown! Contests, demonstrations, dog photos, caricature drawings, free treats, puppy cones, a fun one mile walk, pet adoptions, retail items, and so much more is coming your way! Outlaw Jim Eaton and the Whiskey Benders will entertain on the field stage from 11:30 am -1:30 pm, so bring a chair or a blanket to enjoy great music with your canine friends. $4000 in pledges last year, and she has the honor of leading this year's walk. Her cute picture will also grace this year's Paws in the Park poster. If you would like to help raise funds for our homeless animals, you can start now. Prizes will be awarded to everyone collecting $50.00 or more in pledges! Hotel/B&B/Restaurant Gift Certificates are just some of the prizes available for our top 3 pledge collectors. Paws in the Park has quickly become a Northland tradition and in its 3rd year, we are expecting an even bigger turn out than last year. A lot of fun for dogs and their humans! $20.00 per person/dog by Sept. 13-free t-shirt and a doggie bag full of great surprises! $22.00 Online Registration, $25.00 after Sept 13 or day of the event -t's/doggie bags while supplies last. Registration Brochures will be available next week and if you have attended any of our events or have adopted from FOPAS, you will receive a brochure in the mail.
