Daisy (fka Dove) hit the jackpot when she was adopted by Steve and Rita Anest from Sidney Nebraska. Daisy was returned to FOPAS after being adopted for a year and a half. She was extremely thin and was suffering from an exteme infection in her ears. This couple has shown how rewarding unconditional love can be. Rita sent this report about her vet appointment with her new vet.
"Dr. Cook wanted us to leave her for the day to work on getting all of the gunk out of that right ear.  We hated the thought of leaving her for the day, knowing she'd think she'd been left again, though Dr. Cook is very good with her and gentle.  Steve faithfully and diligently worked on her ear cleaning each evening......he and Daisy have a "date" after dinner, while I clean up the kitchen with Moose and Rowdy, although by the end of the cleansing session, they are both parked outside the bathroom door, concerned on what's going on with Daisy!!!  :o)
Dr. Cook was amazed at how much better both her ears looked, and he didn't keep her at all - just an exam!  He gave us more antibiotic, and we are to continue the cleansing and drops.  To celebrate, Steve brought her into the office to show her off, and she was just prancing!  Priceless!   Give her a toy, and she acts like a rodeo bucking bronco - front AND back paws kicking up in all directions - it's hilarious!  :o)"

Take a look at Daisy enjoy her new forever family. She has already put on over 6 pounds and is loving the opportunity to run and "hunt". Way to go baby girl!!! and way to go Steve and Rita. You are true examples how happily ever after works!!
